People in Santrokofi- Bume suffer from malnutrition due to high poverty levels
in the community. The worst affected are women and children. This
project aims to cultivate and process moringa to combat malnutrition amongst
children. |
| Brief |

This project aims to cultivate the moringa plant, the leaves of which are highly
nutritious, containing the essential amino acids, vitamins and minerals. Moringa
is highly successful at combating malnutrition in the developing world. |
| Beneficiaries |
: |
Poor children aged between 1-18 suffering from inadequate nutrition will receive
nutritious meals cooked with moringa. Pregnant women will be encouraged to add
moringa to their meals in order to increasing the chances of having a healthy
baby. |
| Donation Impact |

£10 would provide 5 moringa seedlings for a family.
£20 would provide moringa leaf powder to a child for 2 weeks.
