Join Team Zonal on Thursday 14th July 2018 to abseil down The ARCELORMITTAL Orbit
Why Abseil the Orbit?
London’s ArcelorMittal Orbit is the tallest sculpture in the UK. It's perfect for adventurous fundraisers eager to enjoy the ultimate urban adventure experience while raising lots of money in aid of Hope for Children.
The 114-metre tall tower, which is located in the heart of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, has become one of the city’s most recognised landmarks since opening as part of the 2012 London Olympics.
It’s the ideal, high profile location for you to abseil down and it’s sure to capture the imagination of colleagues, friends and family.
Fearless fundraisers will be able to take in unrivalled 20-mile views across the city and beyond as they step outside the tower’s viewing platform before embarking on their dramatic 80-metre descent.
The whole experience will take around an hour and you will be put together in groups of up to five who will set off every 30 minutes; so feel free to bring along a friend or book a larger group in. 30 minute slots are currently available from 2:30pm to 5:30pm.
Date: Saturday 14th July 2018
Entrance Fee: £85pp (Optional: GoPro footage £15)
Fundraising Pledge: £150pp
