New corporate partnership with The Happiness Index3.

By Ed Fletcher, Head of Fundraising & Communications

We are excited to announce that Hope for Children has been chosen as the new charity partner of The Happiness Index - a business intelligence tool that helps organisations to gather real-time feedback from their most important asset - their people.

The Happiness Index help companies to understand how their people feel, what is working for them, what could be improved, and how to prioritise the things that will have the biggest positive impact. This allows their customers to identify areas for improvement as they arise, retain their best talent and improve wellbeing.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with such an amazing charity and working together to ensure some of the most vulnerable children in the world will have access to the tools they need to create fulfilling lives." – Tony Latter, CEO, The Happiness Index

“Education is the single greatest way to lift people out of poverty, so we’re excited to be partnering with The Happiness Index who will be supporting some of the most vulnerable children in Uganda to access a quality education and build a future for them and their families.” - CEO, Hope for Children

Making an impact: Helping Uganda’s most vulnerable children

The Happiness Index will help fund our life-changing work with orphans and child-headed households in Uganda. They will help us improve these children’s access to education and lift themselves out of poverty.

The Happiness Index will help children by:

  • Providing books and uniforms.
  • Paying for their school fees.
  • Paying for their meals to maintain health.
  • Emergency support - food parcels, medical aid and grants.
  • Junior achievers – Workshop that teaches children enterprising business skills.
  • Music for hope - Programme that gives children an opportunity to play instruments, build social skills and have some fun!
