We're extremely fortunate to be supported by some incredible people, so each month we recognise members of Team Hope who have gone above and beyond to support Hope for Children. Â
Â
Our July fundraisers of the month are our brilliant Hope Society students, from Nottingham University. Since they began in 2014, they have continuously grown and developed. Every year they beat their previous fundraising total! This year, they raised the massive amount of £2,611! Â
Â
Here's what their president, Jess Baker, had to say about Hope for Children and the work their society is doing:Â
Â
"Over the past 2 years being involved with HopeSoc as President and Vice President, I’ve absolutely loved being a part of Hope and raising money for an incredible charity. It all began when I raised money to climb Kilimanjaro in 2016 and I visited one of the Masaai villages in Longido, Tanzania when I was out there. Being able to see first-hand the astonishing efforts of the charity, I knew I wanted to do more.  As of today, I’ve contributed to raising over 5 and a half thousand pounds for Hope for Children. I wish to continue raising money for Hope for many years to come and I cannot thank enough the amazing team behind Hope for Children for making it all happen!"Â
