About the SHB Big Bash for Hope
The SHB Big Bash for Hope is a 1-day winner-takes-all cricket tournament taking place on Thursday 21st June 2018, the longest day of the year. Each team has 8 players and will play five 5-over matches with pink cricket balls against the other teams in their group. 2 matches will be played simultaneously on each half of this iconic cricket ground, so there's never long to wait until you'll be back out on the wicket.
The sides who top each of their groups will go forward to the grand final, with the eventual winners being crowned the inaugural SHB Big Bash for Hope Champions and walking away with the coveted trophy.
In addition, prizes will be awarded for:
- *Highest Individual Runs
- *Most Wickets
- *Most Sixes
- *Man of the Tournament
Throughout the tournament, SHB will be making a donation for every 6 scored and there will be plenty more activities to enjoy on the day in between your matches, including access to the Indoor School. Teams will also have a PowerPlay that will double your runs from 1 over (of your choosing) in every match.
